Review of Meant to be Mine

Meant to Be Mine by Becky WadeTitle: Meant to be Mine

Author: Becky Wade

Series: A Porter Family Novel book 2

Chapters: 32

Pages: 372

Genre: Christian Romance

Rating: 4 star

Meant to Be Mine is the second book in the Porter family series. It is Ty’s story, Ty had made mistakes in the past but he’s learning from them. He’s also determined to make things right. After being hurt by Ty in the past Celia doesn't know if she can trust him in her life or her heart. She has to be even more careful with letting Ty into her life, because it is not just her heart on the line. But someone else's heart as well. Someone whose heart can be easily broken and hard to be repaired.

In this novel both Ty and Celia have to learn about forgiveness and God’s love and Grace. Under everything there were a few sweet romances and of course a cute kid.

After reading the second novel I can’t wait for the next book Jake’s story. After  reading Undeniably Yours and Meant to be Mine Jake is becoming my favorite Porter and I cannot wait to read his story.

Review of The Heist

The Heist by Janet Evanovich and Lee GoldbergTitle: The Heist

Author: Janet Evanovich

Series: Fox and O’Hare book 1

Pages: 320

Rating: 4 stars

The Heist by Janet Evanovich is a cross between White Collar and Leverage. Kate O’Hare is an FBI Speical Agent, and Nick Fox is the con man that Kate has to work with but pretend to chase. Its different than other Janet Eavonich books I’ve read, but still good. She still has her loveable heroine. All in all it was a pretty good book.

Review of The Nurses Secret Suitor

The Nurse's Secret Suitor (Love Inspired\Eagle Point Emergency): Cheryl Wyatt: 9780373878444: Amazon.com: BooksTitle: The Nurses Secret Suitor

Author: Cheryl Wyatt

Series: Eagle Point Emergency book 3

Pages: 224

Ch: 15

Genre: Christian Romance

Rating: 5 stars

The Nurse’s Secret Suitor is the third book in the Eagle Point Emergency series. Kate Dalton is a former Army nurse and now she is a trauma nurse. She wants to be the best trauma nurse she can. She feels that she has no time to show weakness.  Caleb Landis is an Army medic that has his heart set on being an Army Ranger. He doesn’t feel like he has time for a relationship.

I loved The Nurses Secret Suitor, I felt like it wasn’t just a love story between two people, but a story that showed God’s love for His people. That what makes the best love stories. What makes the Love Inspired line is that it is romance that ends happy but has a strong dose of faith and God’s love.

Review of The Missing Ink

Tattoo Shop Series by Karen E. Olson.Title: The Missing Ink

Author: Karen E. Olson

Series: A Tattoo Shop Mystery book 1

Chapters: 62

Pages: 299

Genre: cozy mystery

Rating: 4 stars

The Missing Ink is a cozy mystery set in a Las Vegas. The main character is Brett Kavanaugh she owns a tattoo parlor. Which people find odd because she is female. When she ends up involved in a mystery and a police case her brother Tim who’s a cop doesn’t want her to get involved.

Even though I have read cozy mysteries before this book ended up being different than what I’ve read in the past. With The Missing Ink you learn not to judge a book by the cover nor a person by their ink or lack of ink.
