The Blonde who came in from the cold by Ally Carter review

 

Ally Carter has done it again.  I loved the The Blonde who Came in from the Cold as much as I did The Blonde Identity. These one is a companion novels.  Though it will make more sense if you read The Blonde Identify first. I loved Alex just a tiny bit more than I did Zoe.  The banter between Alex and King were on fire. I love how we got flash backs to her and Kings past to build up the story and the action.  My only complaint was Ally why'd you have to end it like that?

Gelato at the Villa by Robin Jones Gunn review

 

I’ve literally grown up with Robin’s books, so every time she releases a new one I’m going to read it. Gelato at the Villa is the second book in the Suitcase sisters series.  I love that it’s focuses on two friends traveling together. I loved watching Grace and Claire’s friendship grow and strengthen as well as watching their own separate growth and change. I also enjoyed the node to Sisterchicks in Gondolas part of her Sisterchicks series. And I also felt like I was in Italy.

IF all else sails by Emma St. Clair review

 

I love Emma St. Clair’s hockey roms and I enjoyed this hockey adjunct rom com.  Wyatt the grump is a hockey player in the office season. Josie’s a school nurse and the two can’t stand each other though I think it’s mostly one sided.  I enjoyed this unique twist on the typical road trip forced together.  In which they are on a sail boat. I loved the banter between Wyatt and Josie

One of my favorite troupes is grumpy sunshine.  Throw in Christmas with a grumpy grinch of a hockey player I’m hooked. I’m not going to lie I’ve wanted Rourke’s story ever since book one in the series. And a Christmas rom com was the perfect one for him. And I also loved Janie she’s the perfect foil to Rourke.
