It’s a modern retelling of Beauty and Beast set in New York City. Unlike Beauty and the Beast, Beastly Is told from the beast’s point of view. This book is about to high school students Kyle (the beast) and Lindy (beauty). The story of Beauty and the beast or Beastly fits with high school, because of the fact that high school students put some much into looks. It is a great place for the lessons of Beauty and the Beast to be learned that it’s what’s on the inside that matters not looks.
