I
don’t know how she does it but every time I read one of the Perfect Crush
hockey romance but I love every single one. Even the ones with a troupe that’s
not a favorite especially if it’s not a favorite something about Grace’s
writing and characters that makes love the troupe. And Perfectly Pretend is no
different I think it may be my favorite second romance. I’m also a sucker for
he falls first.
I loved
the banter between Brendan and Scarlett. I also loved watching them both be
idiots and I think Brendan may be my favorite hero of Graces. I mean what’s not
to love about a Marine turned hockey coach.
Seeing
characters from previous books in the series is always nice. It continues to
add to the whole found family aspect of the series. And I hope we get more in
the series.
