     I hadn’t planned on writing a review for  Things I Can’t Forget after reading it. However after thinking it over for a few days I decided to give it a try.  Even though there were things in the book that I do not approve of. It was still a good book.   Kate feels like she made a few mistakes and just wants to be forgiven and for life to go back to normal.

     She ends up being at the same camp as a employee that she attended as a child and runs into her first crush Matt again. Needless to say sparks fly.  While Things I Can’t Forget was a good book it was not as good as the first two books in the Hundred Oaks series at least in my view. Catching Jordan was still my favorite. I would say that this book would have to be for older teens sixteen and up and young adults. 

Review of Stealing Parker

Rating: 3 ½  stars it was well written but because of personal preference I couldn't give it more than 3 stars. For other people it would be 4 or 5 stars.

     Stealing Parker is set at Hundred Oaks High school just like Catching Jordan. Instead of focusing on the football team it focuses on the baseball and softball teams. The book is told from Parker’s point of view. It was nice to see some of the same characters again; Sam Henry, Jordan, and Corn-dog who we find out that his name is actually Will. Who even though owes a diesel truck and lives on a farm. Can we say country boy. Prefers to drive a lawn mower to school; those scenes reminded me of some of the 80’s movies I've seen.

     Just like with Catching Jordan I did not agree with some of the choices that Parker made. However I did like the book though there were some parts that I did have to skip over. But it was still a well written book. I was happy that the book ended the way that I wanted it to. Parker ended up with the right guy, the guy with the big heart. It was nice to see how things ended up between Jordan and Sam Henry.

Rating: 3 ½ stars (for language, and some scenes)

     I did enjoy Catching Jordan I loved the fact that she was girl who was on her football team. Not just on her football team but is the captain and the quarterback. Even though I didn’t agree with some of the choices she made I did enjoy the book. I do think that the novel could have been better without all the language. Though for others who don't have a problem with language and other teenage choices than you'll would most likley give the book a four or five. It was a good story I just couldn't give it higher because of the language.
