Summer in the Spotlight by Liz Johnson is the third and final book in the Prince Edward Island shores series. And it’s my favorite book of the series. But then I’ve been wanting Levi’s story since book one. What’s not to love about a quiet bookish hero. Kelsey Ahern is determined to save the local theater after a hurricane and the least likely person to help Levi Ross.

Levi comes into his own is this book. But the seeds of the growth and change started in book one so it’s best to read the series in order.

But out of all the Ross brothers Levi is my favorite. He’s not a fisherman like Oliver or a hockey player like Eli. He’s not even a typical romance hero but he’s a quiet bookworm who loves his family. Quite frankly we need more heroes like him in fiction.

I loved Levi and Kelsey’s story and Summer in the Spotlight wrapped up the series beautifully.

Harley Quinn Ravenous picks up where Harley Quinn Reckoning left off and Harley is now a college freshman. I loved reading about her adventures in college. And I’m even happier that the joker only makes an appearance as a side character. So no no Harley Quinn abuse by joker in sight. I refuse to call it a relationship.

I have to say Harley Quinn is one of my favorite DC anti-heroes. I don’t consider her a villain though others might. But I enjoyed this one because it gives her a back story as a teenager in Gotham with ADHD which actually makes sense considering comic Harley. It was a quick read.

I liked this on more than I did When in Rome. Annie is indeed a very likeable character. Though I hated the way the town and even her family treated her sometimes. And Will is one of my favorite types of heroes, a bad boy (but not really) with a heart of gold. There is a steamy scene of two in this one, but they fade to black.
