Review of Starry Nights

Amazon.com: Starry Nights eBook: Daisy Whitney: Kindle StoreTitle: Starry Nights

Author: Daisy Whitney

Pages: 280

Genre: teen

Rating: 4 stars

Starry Nights by Daisy Whitney was a sweet and enjoyable read. Julien is teenage boy who falls in love with a girl he sees in a painting. At night the paintings at the museum he works at comes alive. He soon discovers that the art is dying and it’s up to him a human muse to find away to stop it and reverse the effects of it.  With the help of his two new friends a brother and sister and Clio the girl from the painting the future of art rests in his hands.
To me Starry Nights is a cross between Night at the Museum and a love story.

Review of The Cowboy's Christmas Courtship

The Cowboy's Christmas Courtship by Brenda MintonTitle: The Cowboy’s Christmas Courtship

Author: Brenda Minton

Series: Love Inspired/ Cooper Creek

Chapters: 17 plus epilogue

Pages: 216

Genre: Christian Romance Christmas

Rating: 5 Stars

The Cowboy’s Christmas Courtship brings the reader back to Dawson Oklahoma , to Cooper Creek and all the loveable characters from her earlier books.  This book is about Gage Cooper one of the prodigal Cooper child is home after a bull riding injury sidelines him. Layla Silver is working two jobs to keep her farm and keep a roof over her brother’s head. She has had a crush on Gage since high school but she doesn’t want to lose her heart to him.

I enjoyed the Christmas setting of the book. You could understand the love that the Coopers have for not only there family but for others as well. Myrna Cooper Gage’s grandmother is at it again trying to marry off another grandchild.  I think that Gage become my favorite Cooper. Gage might be a bad boy  many ways but he has a heart of gold. There’s more to Gage than meets the eyes.
