To Win her Favor is the second Book in the Belle Meade series. Margaret Maggie Linden and her father own Linden Downs. Their farm that is almost on auction block. When Cullen McGrath asks to buy the farm. Maggie's father agrees to deed to the farm to him if he does two things, pays the back taxes and marries Maggie.  I normally don't like marriage of Connivance   stories, but I loved this one.  I don't know if it is because of I love historical fiction with horses. Or if it is because the hero is an Irish hero.  It does have me wanting to read more marriage of Connivance   stories.

To Win her Favor is a book about two strong people, Maggie wants to continue to train and race Bourbon Belle, but Cullen wants to avoid the world of thoroughbred racing. It was nice to read and see how they both changed through the novel.  A character learned to trust, and another character finds their way back to their faith in God.  I also loved watching two characters slowly fall in love with each other.  To Win her Favor is my favorite of the Belle Meade novels so far.

With each novel I read of Tamera's I find myself loving them more and her writing style.  I have to say that Cullen McGrath is my favorite character of hers, because he's Irish and slightly rough around the edges but with a heart of gold. I can't wait till the next book in the Belle Meade series.
