     My favorite retelling of Peter Pan that I've read this year. It's told from the point of view of Captain Hook starting from his childhood. This one was the story of Hook that I've wanted to read since I was a child. I always knew that was more to the story than what Barrie told.

Harriet or Harri Bisset is a preachers kid that had a rebellious streak as a teen and young adult.   The book starts with her trying to make amends. Enter Maddox McCoy who happens to be a reformed bad boy.

It was an a unique read and also the first Tamera Leigh book that I have read. I can’t wait to read more
