Review of The Death code

Epic Reads Cover Reveal: THE DEATH CODE by Lindsay Cummings - on sale April 21st!Title: The Death Code

Author: Lindsay Cummings

Series:  The Murder Complex book 2

Chapters: 113 plus epilogue

Pages: 496

Genre: teen dysption

Rating: 4 stars

The Death Code picks up where the Murder Complex leaves off. Meadow wants to finish what she started in The Murder complex but she doesn't know if she's going to be able to pull it off. I actually enjoyed book two more so than book one.

The ending was a good. It summed everything up and gave an ending that was perfect for the books, but also left it open at least to me for the possibility of   another book.

Review of The Murder Complex

Amazon.com: The Murder Complex eBook: Lindsay Cummings: Kindle StoreTitle: The Murder Complex

Author: Lindsay Cummings

Series: The Murder Complex book 1

Chapters: 89

Pages: 398

Genre: teen dystopia,

Rating: 4 stars

The Murder complex is a een dystopian,  novel in which the murder rate is basically higher than the birth rate. At first I didn’t know what to think about it. I was to the point where I was tired of dyspotaion but I gave it a chance and really did enjoy it. I can’t wait for the second book to be released.

The book is told from the point of view of Meadow and Zephyr the two main characters, each chapter is a different point of view. Either his or hers.

To me this was a cross between Hunger Games and Divergent, but so much better. It's set in the future in which a cure for what is called the plague is actually in many ways much worse than the disease. It's a society where death is chosen randomly and certain people are programmed to kill. It's basically kill or be killed.

It's an action packed book. I mean it's gotta be with the tagline the death rate is higher than the birth rate.

Review of Allegiant

ALLEGIANT ~ https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10616322-allegiantTitle: Allegiant

Author: Veronica Roth

Series:  Divergent #3

Pages: 526

Genre: Teen Dystopia

Rating: 3 stars

Allegiant wasn’t my favorite of the three Divergent books. The reasons that I did not like it have nothing to do with the reasons that others didn’t like the book.  My reasons have nothing to do with the ending.  The reasons that I did not enjoy it as much as first two was because of the writing. Allegiant didn’t seem to be written like the other books in the series.   While the ending did surprise me in the sense that I didn’t think she would end it that way.  It fits the story line to me. With the series being Dystopia fiction I didn’t think that it was going to end happy for everyone involved.

While Allegiant wasn’t a favorite in the series. It will not stop me for reading any of Veronica’s books in the future.

Review of Insurgent

Title: Insurgent

Author: Veronica Roth

Series: Divergent book 2

Pages: 525

Genre: Teen Dystopia

Rating: 5 stars

Insurgent picks up where Divergent leaves off. Almost exactly where Divergent leaves off. Tris and Four have to figure out where they go. The cannot go back to the way things were before. Their only hope is in the future. There is more twist and turns in the second book in the series. Insurgent keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first page to last page.
A teen book hasn’t affected my emotions as much as Insurgent did. To me Insurgent was even better than the first book. The book ended in a cliff hanger that really does leave you hanging. I cannot not wait to October to read the final book in the series. I have no doubt that it will be just as good as the first two books in the series.
