Still
Lolo
is a memoir of Lauren Scruggs and her family and the tragedy that changed their
lives. But through all of it they didn’t lose their faith. Though Lauren lost
her left eye and hand in an accident with an airplane poralle she didn’t let
that stop here. She’s uses what she went through to reach young girls. To show
them that worth is not in what they look like, but who they are on the inside.
The book has an introduction by Bethany
Hamilton the young surfer who lost her arm to a shark bite. Both young women
stood strong in their faith in God. He was there strength when they had
none.
I enjoyed Lauren’s story and learned a lot.
Still Lolo is a heartwarming story of
courage, strength, and overcoming life’s struggles.
