Operation Oleander was
a book that hit home with me a little bit. The novel centers on a military base
and the kids or military brats growing up on the base. How the kids have to deal with the issues
that come with having a parent in the military.
I could relate to the kids because I was raised as a military life, and
it’s not an easy way to grow up but I wouldn’t have changed it for
anything.
