Tied for first place is Magnus
MacLeish from A Bound Heart. Magnus is a Scottish Laird complete with kilt
though by the time this story takes the wearing of kilts in the Highlands has
been banished. This is the first book of
Laura’s that I want to listen to the auto if only to hear Magnus Scottish brogue.
And General Seamus Ogilvy
from The Mistress of Tall Arce hero
of the American Revolution he’s a scared hero both physically and emotionally.
Which makes him a more believable hero.
Noble
Rynallt from The Lacemaker a
Welsh hero and a Patriot in Williamsburg Virginia
on the cusp of Revolution. A Hero that does indeed live up to his name.
Sion Morgan from A Moonbow Night A Frontiersman that
reminded me a bit of Daniel Boone.
Red Shirt from Courting Morrow Little and Jack Turlock from Love’s Awakening tied for 5th both these heroes start
out a little rough around the edges both with violent past, but the love and
prayers of the loves of their lives and their own choice to live by faith help
them to become better man.
Silas
Ballantyne from Love’s Reckoning A
Heroes whose faith is stronger than the heroines and who shows her the love of
God.
Tied for 7th is James
Sackett from Love’s Fortune and
orphan boy who grows to make something of himself. And Colonel Cassius McLinn from The
Colonel’s Lady who’s a Soldier on the Kentucky Frontier who’s full of
Secrets and guilt.
And last is Ian The Frontiersman’s Daughter surprisingly
the only hero of Laura’s that I did not like. I was actually hoping Lael would
have chosen differently in this novel.
