A teen novel that is set in Scotland with a bit of a ghost story. Other than the paranormal parts it is a  pretty clean book.

     As a teen I read Lurlene McDaniel’s One last novels among others. While The Year of Luminous Love is similar to her earlier novels it is also different. It is edgier and I would say that it is geared more towards older teens. But it was still a good read.
