            Sisterchicks in Wooden Shoes is the eighth and final book in the Sisterchicks series. In this one Summer goes to Holland to visit her pen-pal Noelle.  She makes the trip spare of the moment after she has a health scare. However it may turn out that the trip is something both women need.

            I first discovered Robin Jones Gunn as a year teen when I started reading her Christy Miller series and I have been hooked on her books every sense.  The Sisterchicks series is what I was classify as Christian Chick lit. Even though these books deal with tough issues they are the books you want to read when you want to laugh but still get inspirational and Biblical message. These books are designed for woman.

     The third book in the Sister chicks series. It’s the first book in the series in which the sisterchicks are actually sister.  In this book the sisterchicks  end up in Mexico. I enjoyed the book a little bit but not as much as a did the first two books.

     Laurie and Hope have been friends for years and they are now getting the chance to go to Hawaii together on a sisterchicks vacation.  This book is the second book in the sisterchicks series. It was good but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did the first one.

     Sisterchicks on the loose is the first book in the Sisterchick series by Robin Jones Gunn. It is Christian chick lit but it seems to be written for older women, because the main characters are older.

     Sharon and Penny have been friends for years and now in the 40’s they are going to Finland in order for Penny to find family members.

     Just like I enjoyed reading the Christy Miller series also by Robin Jones Gunn I enjoyed reading this Sisterchick novel. Robin’s novels are full of the right balance of faith, relationships and humor. I am glad that an author that I read as a teen I can continue to read as an adult.
