Review of The Raven Saint

Grace Westcott has piously served God her whole life. Captain Rafe Dubois cannot pass up the opportunity to earn more gold toward the hospital he’s building for the poor by kidnapping Admiral Westcott’s youngest daughter. But when the missionary and the mercenary meet, it’s full-sail-ahead into tumultuous waters! Find out what happens when a bitter mercenary who’s sworn off God falls in love with a pious woman determined to change him.Title: The Raven Saint

Author: Marylu Tyndall

Series: Charles Towne Belles Book 3

Chapters: 41

Pages: 287

Genre: Christian Historical fiction

Rating: 4 stars
The Raven Saint was my least of the trilogy. But it was still a good read. In this novel Grace Westcott is the sister that is kidnapped by pirates. She feels that she is where God wants her to be, for this time.

Overall the series was a great series, I just couldn’t relate to the characters as I did in the first two books. I am still looking forward to more of Marylu’s books.

Review of The Blue Enchantress

The Blue EnchantressTitle: The Blue Enchantress

Author: MaryLu Tyndall

Series: Charles Towne Belles book 2

Chapters: 39 plus epilogue

Pages: 317

Genre: Christian Historical fiction

Rating: 5 stars

The Blue Enchantress is the second book in the Charles Town Belles Series but I happened to love this one more than the first book in the series.  Hope Westcott is Faith’s youngest sister who seems to get into even more trouble than Faith if that’s even possible. I have to say that Hope despite her faults was my favorite of the sisters. Nathaniel Mason just happened to be my favorite hero. Especially after all the lengths he goes to rescue Hope. With what Nathaniel did with his ships in order to be a hero, it gave me a bit of an Once Upon Time fangirl moment.

Review of The Red Siren

Faith Westcott is a lady by day and a pirate by night. Can she garner the riches she so desperately needs before her secret is revealed? Captain Dajon Waite is determined to catch the fiery redhead who has been pillaging the Carolina coast. When Faith invites his courtship, she hopes his infatuation will shield her true identity and keep other suitors at bay.Title: The Red Siren

Author: Marylu Tyndall

Series: Charles Towne Belles book 1

Pages: 317

Genre: Christian Historical fiction, pirates

Rating: 4.5 stars

The Red Siren is the second book by Mary Lu Tyndall that I have read and I enjoyed it. The Red Siren is the first book in the Charles Towne. Faith Westcott is a female pirate who has one goal collect enough treasure so that her sisters aren’t forced to marry against their wills. I don’t know why it took me so long to read Marylu’s books because I love tells of seafaring and pirates. So a book with a redheaded female pirate I was hooked.  Each novel could be read alone but it works best to read them in order with The Red Siren first.

I ended up liking this one as much The Redemption they ended up being tried. They each But with each of Marylu’s books I’ve read I liked it more than the last one.
