The Restitution is the third
book in the Legacy of the Kings Pirates.
This book has mention of the hero and Heroine from the first two books,
but they aren’t actually in this book. Lady Isabel Ashton the secondary heroine from book
two is the main character in this book. Isabel’s young son is kidnapped by pirates and
she is forced to turn to the one person she never wanted to see again. Her son’s
father Captain Kent Carlton. He’s a
pirate and she doesn’t think that she can trust him, but he might just be her
last hope. Kent has always been seen as
the villain by most people including Isabel and he can’t blame her she has
every reason to see him as such.
So far this is my favorite in the series, but that might change
when I read the fourth one. With this book you don’t know who’s the hero or the
villain. The Restitution gives new meaning to the phase you can’t judge a
book by its cover, because you cannot judge the characters by their looks or
what they say.
All I can say is that The
Restitution keeps you guessing on what was going to happen next. Which was a good thing. It keep me reading. The Restitution also raises the question can a
pirate be a hero? I leave you to find the answer yourself.
