The Cowboy’s Christmas Courtship brings the reader back to Dawson Oklahoma , to Cooper Creek and all the loveable characters from her earlier books.  This book is about Gage Cooper one of the prodigal Cooper child is home after a bull riding injury sidelines him. Layla Silver is working two jobs to keep her farm and keep a roof over her brother’s head. She has had a crush on Gage since high school but she doesn’t want to lose her heart to him.

I enjoyed the Christmas setting of the book. You could understand the love that the Coopers have for not only there family but for others as well. Myrna Cooper Gage’s grandmother is at it again trying to marry off another grandchild.  I think that Gage become my favorite Cooper. Gage might be a bad boy  many ways but he has a heart of gold. There’s more to Gage than meets the eyes.

Review of The Cowboy's healing Ways

Title: The Doctor’s Healing ways

Author: Brenda Minton

Series: Cooper Creek,

Chapters: 19

Pages: 224

Genre: Christian Romance, Love inspired

Rating: 4 ½ stars

Dr. Jesse Alvarez  Cooper had always had a plan, a plan that didn’t include getting married before he was 35. All his life he thought God was calling him to mission field, but what if it wasn’t a far off mission field but one closer to home.
Laura White has had a hard life with a past that she wants to put behind her. The only thing that she wants is her daughter back she never planned on falling in her.
These two thought they had their lives all planned but God had other plans. As the Love Inspired line and authors like to show is that no matter what God is still control and His for us are far better than our own.

Review of The Cowboy Lawman

Title: The Cowboy Lawman

Author: Brenda Minton

Series: Cooper Creek, Love Inspired

Chapters: 17 plus Epilogue

Pages: 215

Genre: Christian Romance

Rating: 5 stars

Slade McKennon has been a lawman in Cooper creek for a few years. Five years ago he lost his wife in a car crash; Mia Cooper was his wife’s best friend as well as one of his best friends. He has yet to be able to move on.
Mia Cooper is an injured DEA agent who comes home to cooper creek to recover. Only to discover that her life is in danger, and Slade wants to protect her. Neither can let go of the past and move. Mia has loved Slade since she was a teenager but when her best friend said she loved him Mia kept her feelings to herself not wanting to hurt her two best friends.

I enjoyed The Cowboy Lawman then again I love all the books that I read. I love that the Love Inspired line is a romance line that puts God and faith at the center of the relationships and the romance in the book. It is nice to be able to pick up a romance knowing that it is going to be “clean” and PG.  I cannot wait for the next book in the Cooper Creek series. Brenda Minton has written another winner.

I received an e book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Review of The Rancher's Secret Wife

Title: The Rancher’s Secret Wife

Author: Brenda Minton

Series: Love Inspired Cooper Creek

Chapters: 14 plus epilogue

Pages: 215

Genre: Christian Romance

Rating: 5 stars

Reese Cooper married Cheyenne Jones before he left for Iraq in order to give her and her unborn baby a better life. While he was gone she would have his health insurance, if he didn’t come back then she would have his life insurance. However no one saw him coming back injured and blind.
Cheyenne Jones Cooper shows up in Dawson Oklahoma to make sure that Reese was ok and to find a place to raise her child. Cheyenne is tire of feeling like no one can love her, and a throw away. Reese on the other hand doesn't feel like he can take care of a wife let alone a child being blind.
The Rancher’s Secret Bride is a novel about learning to trust God’s plan and His timing. That His ways are not our ways. Which is something that both Reese and Cheyenne have to learn.
The Rancher’s Secret Bride is the fourth book in the Cooper Creek series by Brenda Minton and one of my favorites. The Cooper’s are a large family in which love is thicker than blood. Even though it is a series each book is a standalone that can be read separately and out of order without giving away too much.
Reese is a hero who served his country was and injured but still made it home. But like Brenda said at the end of the novel it is the man and women of the Armed forces that are the real heroes and we need to take the time to thank them.

Title: The Cowboy’s Holiday Blessings
Author: Brenda Minton
Series: Love Inspired Cooper Creek
Chapters: 16 plus epilogue
Pages:215
Genre: Christian Romance
Rating: 5 stars
The Cowboy’s blessings is the first book in the Cooper creek series about the Cooper family. I first discovered Brenda Minton’s books when I read Jenna’s Cowboy Hero and discovered a whole “cowboy” series after which I was hooked. I love reading about cowboys.
Jackson Cooper is a reformed bad boy who has finally come to the Cooper ranch. He’s given up riding bulls to train horses and run his own ranch. It seems his mom’s and grandmother’s prayers are seeing fruit.
Madeline Patton is a school teacher who wants to put down roots in the small town. That is if she can keep her past from catching up with her. Madeline knows that she is not Jackson’s type, but she can’t help falling for him.
When a teenage girl shows up on his doorstep, Jackson turns to Madeline for help with Jade. A 33 year old bachelor he has no clue of what to do with a teenage. Even though he sure he’s not Jade father he takes her in so that’s she not alone at Christmas. The only thing that Jade wants for Christmas is a family of her own.
Will Jackson admit that he loves Madeline? Will Madeline see that Jackson truly has changed and really does love her? Will Jade get a family in time for Christmas?
I first discovered Jackson’s Character in The Cowboy’s Sweetheart where he was still the town’s bad boy, and again in The Cowboy’s Family. In The Cowboy’s Homecoming you see Jackson start to change. Brenda Minton’s “cowboy” series is a series in the since that the books have the same characters. You don’t have to read the books in order, but it helps since you don’t find out how other books end by reading newer books first.
