Review of Paige Turned

Paige Turned: A Paige Alder Novel: Erynn Mangum: 9781612913223: Amazon.com: BooksTitle: Paige Turned

Author: Erynn Mangum

Series: Paige Alder series book 3

Chapters: 20

Pages: 336

Genre: Christian Chick lit

Rating: 5 stars

Paige Turned is the third book in the Paige Alder series.  A book that wraps up the series perfectly at least in my opinion.  Like all of Erynn’s other books and series I fell in love with the character’s especially Paige. I think that it was because I found myself relating to Paige the most. I could see myself in Paige. I felt like I learned right along with Paige.
I love how Erynn’s books have the right mixture of life, faith, and laughter.  Paige Turned was no different.  Erynn’s character’s seem real and the problems that they face are the same problems that we face in real life. However through it all God’s love and promises shine through in each novel. Out of all of Erynn’s novels Paige is the one at least in my opionon who grew or changed the most.
After reading Paige Turned I cannot decide which of Erynn’s heroes are my favorites. It’s a toss up between Jack from the Maya Davis series and Tyler from the Paige Alder series. They both or great.

The Paige Alder series is the perfect series for those who like chick lit but also enjoy reading clean romances.

Review of Beaded Hope

Title: Beaded Hope
Author: Cathy Liggett
Series:   No
Chapters: 46 plus epilogue
Pages: 381
Genre: Christian chick lit/ real life fiction
Rating:  5 Stars 10/10
Four America women with nothing in common build relationships with South African and each other.  Cassandra is looking for away to advance her career. Heidi a single mom is trying to figure out what to do with her teenage daughter. Katie is a pregnant teenage trying to figure life out. Gabby is looking for an escape, after suffering another miscarriage. These four women will find more than they bargained for in South Africa, and they will ever be the same.
Beaded Hope is an awesome read. Very emotional very seldom do I read a book that makes me cry; however with Beaded Hope I was crying off and on through the whole book. The book though fiction is written about an actual missions trip. The bead for hope is an actual project in which women in South Africa and other African countries learn to make beaded artwork and jewelry in order to support themselves and their families.
Beaded Hope is a wonderful read. I recommend that every one read this book; there is even a readers guide at the back of the book; if you wanted to read it for a book club.

Just like with her Maya Davis series Erynn Mangum combines humor and the love of God in her books. Her books deal with the life of college students and young adults and the struggles that they go through. As well as what the learn and how they grow in their Faith along the way. If you enjoy chick lit and Christian fiction then Erynn Mangum is the author for you. I am waiting for her new book to come out.

Book review of Fools Rush In Janice Thompson

Title: Fools Rush In
Author: Janice Thompson
Series: Weddings By Bella

Bella Rossi belongs to a typical crazy Italian American family. Whose family just happens to be wedding planners. When she gets in over her head with a country-western themed wedding and needs a deejay with knowledge of country-western music, in walks her very own cowboy DJ Neeley, and the rest is history. My favorite line from this book is, “I dreamed of a pizza loving cowboy…” Bella Rossi Fools rush in. I would give this book 5 stars, I would say that the genre that I would say Fools Rush In fits into is Christian chick lit.
