It was an a unique read and also the first Tamera Leigh book that I have read. I can’t wait to read more

Mini Reviews: Christian Romance

Title: Faith with a Side of Romance

Author: Krista Phillips

Series: sort of a sequel to Sandwich

Chapters: 13 Plus Epilogue

Pages: read on my kindle

Genre: Christian romance

Rating: 4.5 stars

Faith with a Side of Romance is set in the same town as Sandwich with a Side or Romance. It focuses on Rachel and Cameron. It is a short and sweet read. While you wouldn’t have to read this one after Sandwich it reads better if you do.

Review of Rival Hearts

Title: Rival Hearts

Author: Tara Randel

Series:

Chapters: ch 14

Pages: 219

Genre: Christian Romance

Rating: 3 stars

Molly Henderson and Ben Weaver are up for a promotion at their office but their boss decides to make a contest out of it.   Molly today outdoor stuff since Ben is the editor of an outdoor magnizne.  While Ben has to make a quilt since Molly is the editor of a quilt magnizne.

The book was a cute read, but it wasn’t my favorite.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.

Review of The Redemption

Title: The Redemption

Author: M.L. Tyndall

Series: Legacy of the King’s Pirates book 1

Chapters: 47

Pages: 317

Genre: Christian Historical/pirates

Rating: 5 stars

Lady Charlisse Bristol wants to find her father, Edmund Merrick is a pirate for the crown. They are searching for the same man but for different reasons. They both end up finding some much more.

The Redemption is the first book that I have read by Mary Lu and I am wondering why it took me so long to read. As a child and a teen I loved pirates. I mean my two of my favorite books as a child were about pirates. The Redemption has both pirates and faith. I love that Mary Lu wrote about a Christian pirate, a pirate that is trying to turn his life around. I also loved that faith is intertwined in the story and is a huge part of the story. A story that wouldn’t be complete without that.

I cannot wait to start reading the next book in the LEgecy of the King’s pirate series as well as other books by Mary Lu Tyndall.
