Beastly is based on the book Beastly by Alex Finn. If you haven’t read the book you will not notice the changes that they made with the movie. However the changes do not take away from the movie, it makes it unique. I enjoyed the movie for all it’s differences. I wasn’t comparing the two.
Beastly is basically the story of Beauty and the Beast from Kyle’s (beast) point of view. It’s set in modern day New York. Kyle thinks that looks matter, but he’s about to find out how wrong he is.
Love this movie. Such a cute story - plus it helps that I like fairy-tales anyway. =D
