Review of Where I Belong

Title: Where I belong
Author: Gwendolyn Heasley
Chapters: 17
Pages:291
Genre: Teen Chick lit
Rating:  5 Stars 10/10
Corrinne is a New York teen; who’s living the good life until her father loses his job. Now her world comes crashing down around her. Her dad takes a job in the Middle East. Corrinne and her brother find themselves moving to Texas to live with her grandparents. What’s a New York girl to do? Plot a way to get out.
Along the way Corrinne meets the people that make up Broke Spade. Makes a few friends, in Kitsy, and Hands a cheerleader, and a football player at her new school. She also learns to do things she never thought she would do. Learns things about her mother she didn’t know. Before everything is done, Corrinne will have a few lessons, and choose between two guys; Rider the musican and outsider, or Bubby the football star and good boy.
I have to admit that I picked the book up because of the cover, I can’t pass up a book with a guy in a cowboy hat. It actually turned out to be a cute book for a teen book. I recommend it to anyone who wants to read it. It’s a “clean” teen book for the most part, though there are a few curse words.
