Jealousy filled Donuts is the third book in the
Deputy Donut Mystery series by Ginger Bolton and they just keep getting
better and better. A police-themed donut shop is indeed kind of
cute, because for better or worse when people think donuts they think
police.
This one is set around the
fourth of July and Emily had even intention of staying out of trying to
solve another murder. That is until someone begins trying to convince the
police that she is the main suspect. So she's determined to try to clear
her name again. Even though police Detective Brett doesn’t' want her to
put herself in harm’s way. Emily tends to be on the stubborn side.
I love Dep the cat and
unofficial donut shop mascot. This one is my favorite of the series so
far. I have to say though the ending and suspect was a little bit too easy to predict.
But it was till good.
I received a copy of this
book from the publisher through netgalley. I was not required to write a
positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.
