While I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I did
the first one in the series. But I did enjoy that the suspense kept me guessing
and wanting to turn the page to find out what happened.
I loved getting to read more about Bill
“Drumstick” Sanders after meeting him in the first book in the series. As well
as meeting FBI Special Agent Lynda Culter. Though I’m not a fan of second
chance romances this one worked for me. I think it was because it was romantic
suspense was what made it work.
Even though Word of Honor is a standalone novel
within a series I do recommend you read the books in series order, otherwise
you will miss some things and get spoiled for others. But all in all, I did
enjoy reading this one. And I think Hallee Bridgeman is becoming a new favorite
Suspense author.
