Always Look Twice by Elizabeth Goddard is the second book in the
Uncommon Justice series. Though it is part of a series it can be read as a
standalone novel with slight spoiler for the first book.
Harper Reynolds while taking a leave of absence from her job and
unwilling captures a murder with her camera and runs into childhood friend
Heath McKade. It becomes his job to
protect her.
This was a medium paced suspense novel that almost like a game
of cat and mouse. I hadn’t read a
suspense novel before it kept me turning the pages to find out what happened.
